PCA 2022 Annual Conference Call for Proposals

Proposals for the 54th Annual

Pennsylvania Counseling Association Conference 

The conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Pittsburgh-Cranberry, PA - October 14-16, 2022. We are eagerly looking forward to another face-to-face conference, but will continue to monitor the CDC’s recommendations throughout the conference planning. This year’s theme is Advancing the Profession: Promoting Assessment & Effective Counseling Practices. Proposals should be geared toward counselors, supervisors, graduate students, and educators. The deadline to submit proposals is Thursday March 31, 2022 by 11:59 PM ET.

There are three (3) presentation types and all proposals should address this year’s theme: 

1. 50-Minute Education Session (Saturday-Sunday) 
2. 50-Minute Roundtable Session (Saturday morning) 
3. 50-Minute Poster Presentation (Friday evening) 

Proposals will include a program description, 3 learning objectives, references used to inform the proposal, and qualifications of the presenters. As a reminder, all lead presenters must have a Master’s degree and be PCA members. Please be prepared to upload a PDF copy of the lead presenter’s CV/Resume at the time of submission.
