You Showed Up in April. Now Let’s Go to Harrisburg!
PCA Hill Day is June 1. Here’s everything you need to know.
Dear PCA Member,
April Advocacy Month was just the beginning. You made calls, sent emails, and raised your voice for the profession and the clients we serve. Now it’s time to take that energy directly to the Pennsylvania State Capitol.
PCA Hill Day is Monday, June 1, 2026. Sign up now!
This is your opportunity to meet face-to-face with state legislators and their staff, to put a name and a face to the issues you’ve been championing all spring. You don’t need to be a policy expert. You just need to show up.
What to Know:
- Location: Pennsylvania State Capitol, Harrisburg
- Date: Monday, June 1, 2026
- Mileage reimbursement is available for all attendees
We will provide everything you need to prepare, including talking points on PCA’s 2026 legislative priorities, materials to leave with legislators, and on-site support from the Government Relations Committee.
Our 2026 priorities include:
- The Interstate Counseling Compact (HB668 / SB604)
- Insurance reimbursement for LAPCs
- Protecting LGBTQ+ Pennsylvanians
- Funding pathways for future counselors
- Healthcare subsidy access for the clients we serve
- Immigrant rights and the wellbeing of the communities we serve
