School Counselor Evaluation Rubrics

School Counselor Evaluation Rubrics went into effect on July 1, 2013. The committees developing the specialists’ rubrics met in February to hear the results of the validation research and to revise the rubrics as per needs and suggestions. The revised rubrics will be forwarded to LEA’s for one more review to be followed by a final edit before the instruments become part of the Teacher Effectiveness Initiative in Pennsylvania. This is the first time that PDE certified specialists will have evaluation instruments that measure their specialty expertise and performance.
