ACES Eastern Region - 1st Annual Fall Conference
When: Friday, October 7, 2011 - 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Please join us for the first annual meeting of the Eastern Region of the Pennsylvania Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (PACES).
The meeting will include morning and afternoon panel presentations with time for discussion on the topics of importance listed below. Over lunch, Dr. Jennifer Barna, PCA President, will bring greetings from the organization and speak with us about opportunities at PCA. Lunch also will provide opportunities to meet and connect with colleagues from the region.

9:30-10:00 Registration/check in
10:00-12:00 Panel Discussion 1 - 'Gatekeeping' Responsibilities of Counselor Educators.
12:00-1:00 Lunch/ Dr. Jennifer Barna, Pennsylvania Counseling Association
1:00 - 3:00 Panel Discussion 2 - Counseling Internships: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
3:00 - 3:30 Wrap-up & planning for future meetings
Registration:
Registration for the conference is $8, which includes lunch and morning/afternoon breaks. Food costs are being subsidized by Arcadia University so an accurate count of attendees is required. Please register by sending a check for $8.00 made out to "Pennsylvania Counseling Association" to Carol Lyman, Arcadia University, 450 S. Easton Road, Glenside, PA 19038-3295 no later than September 23, 2011. Registration is limited to 50 participants.
