What is the GPCA?

The Greater Pittsburgh Counseling Association (GPCA) is a regional chapter of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association (PCA).  The southwest region includes the following eight counties:  Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Westmoreland and Washington. 

The GPCA strives to promote professionalism in counseling along with the development of new and seasoned counselors.  The GPCA encourages graduate students to become actively involved in the organization and seeks to support current practicing counselors through networking and CEU opportunities.

Board Members Wanted

The GPCA is looking for Professional Counselors and Students to become active leaders in our organization. We want to have your input about how the GPCA can support local professionals and students. Please help to strengthen the identity of Professional Counseling in the greater Pittsburgh region by becoming involved. How Do I Join?

Joining the GPCA can be done several ways, (1) through the PCA membership application, (2) attendance at the quarterly seminar, seminar cost includes membership for non-members or (3) contact Susan Pagnine at Therapist@zoominternet.net.
