PCA Conference Call for Proposals Deadline Tomorrow!

Proposals for the 54th Annual Pennsylvania Counseling Association Conference 

The conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Pittsburgh-Cranberry, PA - October 14-16, 2022. This year’s theme is Advancing the Profession: Promoting Assessment & Effective Counseling Practices. Proposals should be geared toward counselors, supervisors, graduate students, and educators. The extended deadline to submit proposals is Friday April 15, 2022 by 11:59 PM ET.

There are three (3) presentation types and all proposals should address this year’s theme: 

  1. 50-Minute Education Session (Saturday-Sunday) 
  2.  50-Minute Roundtable Session (Saturday morning) 
  3. 50-Minute Poster Presentation (Friday evening) 

Proposals will include a program description, 3 learning objectives, references used to inform the proposal, and qualifications of the presenters. As a reminder, the lead presenter must have a Master’s degree and be a PCA member. Please be prepared to upload a PDF copy of the lead presenter’s CV/Resume at the time of submission. Graduate students who will graduate prior to the conference, can be listed as the lead presenter. Please include the anticipated graduation date on your CV.

A confirmation your proposal was submitted is at the end of your submission in Survey Monkey. Decisions will be sent to the lead presenter's email address by May 15th.
